The whole experience from start to finish was respectful and dignified. Everyone we spoke with was so kind and supportive particularly Jyden who was with us from the beginning. This is the second funeral that Huddersfield Funeral Home have provided for us and they have been perfect each time.

From beginning to end things could not have run smoother.
Advice given was simply and straightforward with a very professional and sympathetic tone.
The burial was conducted with respect and dignity by all of their members of staff .

Helen helped us out all the way from the initial contact right up until Dad left the home on the day of his funeral. Nothing was too much for her. Such a lovely, helpful and friendly lady

The staff at the funeral home were absolutely outstanding especially a member of staff called Jyden. I can not describe in words how much Jyden did for our family. He was extremely accommodating with everything. We all felt very comfortable with him and he made the whole process flow smoothly and without any stress. Another member of staff I want to thank you is a lady I think she’s called Katrina I know her name began with a K. This lady was absolutely a star. She couldn’t do enough for us. She was so understanding and again she comforted all of us and we really appreciated all her help and Jydens absolute fantastic people.

As a bereaved family we cannot express enough our thanks and gratitude to the team - especially Jyden.

The day of the funeral was seamless.

Sadly my truly wonderful wife Bronwyn passed away in March this year 2025 leaving me devastated hence the slow review.
Having used this Huddersfield Funeral Home previously I already knew the services offered to be exemplary and I wasn't disappointed.

From the initial contact to the cremation everything was perfect; A huge thank you to Jyden Asher and the two drivers attending for their professionalsmn at this the sadest time of my life where I was in the darkest of places.

Nothing at all was too much trouble for Jyden; he arranged everything exactly as I wanted; it was a private cremation at Park Wood which I chose because Bronwyn's mother was cremated there many years ago. The crematorium was well lanscaped and tended.

Only myself and a close friend said our farewells to Bronwyn; the two songs chosen were "You've got a friend" by James Taylor; Bronwyn's favourite and Elvis Presley "Fools rush in".

It was a very tearful time for me and we were amazed when exactly on time Jyden appeared walking in front of the limosine and hearse bearing Bronwyn's coffin; he was dressed in full funeral attire including top hat looking very distinguished indeed; stopping in front of our bungalow; the rear of the hearse was opened for us to view the coffin adorned with the large flower arrangement; red carnations and by my special request with Freesias added; Freesias were flowers in Bronwyn's wedding bouquet. The flowers were stunning.

The driver opened the limosine rear doors and my friend and I were seated. Once again Jyden led the hearse on foot walking slowly not only along the street but also down to our local lane then we were driven to Park Wood following Bronwyn.

Neither Bronwyn nor I are in any way religious so no religion was involved but what a beautiful send off for my Bronwyn. I requested and was kindly granted permission to scatter Bronwyn's ashes in a beautiful wooded area near where Bronwyn was born also when I die my ashes will join Bronwyn's so we can be together for eternity.

Because of all the extras it was expensive but money well spent; I wanted the best for Bronwyn who will forever be deep in my soul.

Huddersfield Funeral Home couldn't possibly have done anything else to make the cremation better; it was perfect. Thank you so much Jyden for your empathy and compassion which is fully appreciated also again thank you again to the two drivers.

48 years married to such a lovely wife; I love you to bits Bronwyn and always will.

Jayden’s professionalism and attention to detail provided such comfort to our family. He guided us through every step of the process, ensuring that everything was handled with the utmost care. We truly appreciate his support and kindness throughout. Everything we had in mind, he went above and beyond to ensure we were able to give the send off we had hoped for. We had many requests, and nothing we asked for seemed ‘too much’. We would like to say a huge thank you, once again for his exceptional service. He really is a credit to you.
